1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Prestige EduX ("the Service"), a multi-tenant school management platform operated by Prestige EduX. By creating an account, inviting users, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the school or organization you represent.

2. The Service

Prestige EduX provides tools for school administration, including student and staff records, admissions, attendance, academics, fees, communications, and related settings. Features available to your school depend on your subscription plan, permissions, and enabled integrations.

3. Accounts and school administrators

You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure. School administrators are responsible for managing users, roles, and permissions within their tenant, and for ensuring that school staff use the Service in compliance with applicable education and data-protection laws.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content;
• attempt to access another school's data or circumvent access controls;
• interfere with platform integrity, security, billing, or availability;
• use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications beyond legitimate school operations;
• reverse engineer or misuse APIs except as expressly permitted.

5. Customer data

Schools remain the controllers of student, parent, staff, and operational data they enter into the Service. Prestige EduX processes that data to provide the Service as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have a lawful basis to collect and process personal data you submit.

6. Subscriptions, trials, and payments

Paid plans, trials, communication credits, and renewals are billed according to the pricing shown in the product or an agreed invoice. Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers such as Paystack. Fees already charged for completed billing periods are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

7. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with email/SMS providers, payment gateways, cloud storage, biometric devices, and authentication providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. Prestige EduX is not responsible for outages or policy changes by third parties outside our reasonable control.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and secure, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update features, security controls, or these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email where practical. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prestige EduX disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these Terms and limits liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for unpaid invoices, security risk, or material breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, access to the tenant may be disabled, and data retention will follow our Privacy Policy and any applicable legal obligations.
